  • This course aims to equip senior graduating students with the proper work attitude in the Industry in the light of Benedictine virtues like honesty, resoluteness in the will of God, etc.  Given the onslaught of media and telecommunication gadgets and trends in the industry, this course seeks to strike a balance between true Benedictine Character and Industrial competitiveness.

  • This course aims to introduce to the first year students the Life and Holy Rule of St. Benedict and the Benedictine Spirituality of Health Care.  It consists mainly of discussions on the life and miracles of the Saint, a brief history of the Holy Rule.

  • The first part of the course basically deals with the God of love who, through his Son Jesus and in their Holy Spirit, formed the Community of Disciples called Church who, in turn, has proclaimed Jesus and continued his mission through her words, deeds, and sacramental celebrations for the past two thousand years. The second part tackles the liturgy and sacraments and their relevance to the various stages and dimensions of both our Christian and human lives. The seven sacraments are presented not just as events and celebrations which sustain our identity as part of the dynamic Christian community. They are the saving actions of Christ which continue to nourish and empower us to share his liberating love to others, especially the least, lost, and last in our society.

  • This course provides First Year Bedan students the opportunity to experience the LOVING and COMPASSIONATE God who reveals himself in human history, in Sacred Scriptures and Tradition.  The topics are designed to lead the students to a greater awareness and appreciation of the Old Testament as the love story between God and human beings.  The course will expound on God’s initial revelation and promise of salvation in the Old Testament. It will also highlight how the Word of God remains relevant in contemporary times, especially in the lives and various circumstances of college students today.

Reflections from Bo Sanchez

  • Haven’t you noticed? The road to success isn’t a straight road. It has many twists, turns, and zigzags. With lots of detours. Today, I’d like to talk about the Principle of Obliquity.   Don’t be afraid of that word. What in the world is Obliquity?  Obliquity is the state of being oblique. (Are you sometimes blown away by my genius?)
